Getting Married at Grace Church!
Call a member our clergy (Janet or Nick) to talk in detail about weddings at Grace Church. For your planning purposes, here are some of the standard costs associated with a wedding:
- Church Rental: $300
- Clergy Fee: $200 suggested donation
- Pianist: $150
- Vocalist: $150
- Other Musicians: $100 each (a full band is available)
- Use of A/V equipment: $100 (required if hiring musicians)
- Church arrangement: $50 per person per hour (usually 2 people for 1 hour)
Checks made payable to Grace Church Van Vorst should be given to the Parish Administrator before the scheduled service.
A pre-marital meeting with a member of the clergy is required. Pre-marital counseling or proof of pre-marital counseling is also required. There is a suggested donation of $200 for pre-marital counseling, unless the clergy is to perform the wedding. In that case, the donation is waived.
