Family Matters provides parents of young children with a weekly, Sunday morning forum to a) read and discuss books about child rearing, b) share triumphs, problems, references and resources, c) create a web of support for parents so they don’t have to “go it alone” in trying to navigate new parenthood. This is a great forum for men as well as women. For more information please contact Dana Patton: firstname.lastname@example.org
Each weekday, a professional teacher and local parents provide a fun and educational environment in the church for toddlers up to three years old. The program runs from 9am to 11:30am and allows parents a morning or two a week for themselves. For more information click Here.
Sunday School meets during the 11am service. Children sing the opening song in church, participate in the Children’s homily at the beginning of worship and are invited to join their teachers in the rectory for Sunday School. They return to worship during the Peace so families may receive communion together.
Toddlers are welcomed to come to the Toddler Care play area in the parish hall which is staffed by two child-care providers during the 11am worship service. Some parents prefer to have their toddlers with them for part of or throughout the entire worship service which is fine too.
Little Lambs Sunday School
Little Lambs is a tactile, Sunday School program for children between the ages of 3-5 that familiarizes them with prayerful wondering, sacred space, and key concepts in Scripture through imaginative play.
Follow Me Sunday School
The "Follow Me" Sunday school program is for kids between the ages of 6-10 years old. Would your child like to cross a sea of balloons with Moses, go fishing with Simon Peter, or see water turn into wine (Well okay, purple grape juice) right before her very eyes? Each Sunday our children experience the Bible through song, imaginative storytelling, theater, games and crafts.
